A trip to the Canadian maritimes is not complete without a visit to Prince Edward Island. As soon as you have crossed the bridge it feels like you have stepped back in time which is often the case on islands like PEI. When I was young I used to visit one of the Dutch islands a couple of times a year to visit my grandparents and PEI, though located at the other end of the world, really reminded me of that little island from my childhood. The quiet outstretched beaches, picturesque villages and distinct island vibe made me feel right at home.

This is a mixed media piece on wood, a combination of photo-transfer and acrylics. The sides of the panel are painted black. The piece comes with a wire on the back for hanging. The piece is signed at the front and has title, date and artist name on the back and includes a signed certificate of authenticity from the artist.
