This was the view from the hill outside our apartment in the French Ardennes in the spring of 2008. It is a very quiet place with small villages that look like little ghost towns, there are no people to be seen anywhere. This piece was painted live in de countryside. It is painted in oils on a canvas wrapped board and includes a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
