Sometimes when I see a tree or a rock I see figures or faces in the branches, roots or shadows. This tree can be found in the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens and to me it is so much more than just a tree, this tree shelters the group of people sleeping at its base.

Tree People is a mixed media piece with some photographic element worked in with acrylics and a scratching technique. The piece is painted on a gallery wrapped canvas of which the sides are painted black. A varnish has been applied to protect it from UV light. The piece is not framed and comes with a wire on the back for hanging. It is signed at the front and has title, date and artist name on the back and includes a signed certificate of authenticity from the artist. Be advised that colors and brightness depend on your monitor and the digital picture may be slightly different from the original work of art.
